I was born in London and moved to Hamburg in 1994. My business background is varied. In London I started out preparing statistics for different companies, learnt Marketing and worked in that field for a food company for over ten years. After I moved to Hamburg, I continued working in the food business. I then switched fields and worked for a computer memory company for ten years too. The company relocated my department to the Netherlands, but they sponsored me to study for a CELTA qualification and since 2010, I have worked as an English trainer in companies, for schools and private universities.

I am on the committee of the Hamburg English Language Teachers Association and have the role of membership secretary.
